1. Controller

2. What data we process

• Contact form and email: name, company, email address, phone number, topic, role and message; if you send the enquiry from the storage calculator, also its key figures (consumption, peak load, PV output, storage size). We use them to handle your enquiry and for the communication that follows. The enquiry is stored in our customer management system HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc., USA; stored in HubSpot’s EU data centre) and may also be delivered by email to our mailbox (sending service Resend, Inc., USA) and stored in our email system (Microsoft 365).
• Server logs: when you visit the website, our hosting provider Vercel Inc. (USA, delivery through a worldwide network with servers in Europe) processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, page requested and browser in order to provide and secure the website.
• Audience measurement: we load Vercel Web Analytics only if you choose “Allow statistics” in the cookie notice. The service works without cookies and without cross-device identification; IP addresses are not stored permanently. Aggregated figures (page views, country of origin, device type) are evaluated.
• Language setting: a technically necessary cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers the language you chose. It contains no personal data.
• Access to partner material: when you enter the password on the home page, a technically necessary cookie (st_access) records for 30 days that you have been let in. It contains no personal data.
• Your cookie choice: a technically necessary cookie (st_consent) records for 12 months whether you have allowed statistics. It contains no personal data.

3. Cookies

This website sets no tracking or marketing cookies. It uses three technically necessary cookies: for the language (NEXT_LOCALE), access (st_access) and your cookie choice (st_consent). Audience measurement only runs with your consent. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. When you switch between day and night mode, your browser remembers that choice locally (local storage, entry “st-theme”); the entry is not sent to us and contains no personal data.

4. Disclosure and transfer abroad

We pass personal data only to the service providers named (Vercel, HubSpot, Resend, Microsoft), which process it on our behalf. For recipients in the USA we rely on the Federal Council’s adequacy decision (Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses. We forward enquiries from installation or project partners to a suitable partner only with your consent.

5. Retention

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for any business relationship, at most as long as legal retention duties require. Log data is deleted after a short time.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and data portability, and the right to object to processing. Contact info@shunyatek.ch. The supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

7. Changes

We update this notice when our services or the legal position change. The version published here applies.
